I am an associate professor of public relations and director of the Graduate Program in Corporate and Public Communication at Monmouth. I also serve as the co-faculty advisor to Monmouth’s Shadow PR student-run firm and PRSSA chapter.
In addition to teaching public relations courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, I am also a public relations researcher and scholar. My primary area of research focuses on web-based public relations strategies and tactics, primarily in the higher education sector. I am interested in the role that dialogic communication plays in communicating identity, image and branding. I have authored articles that have been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Public Relations Review, Public Relations Journal, Atlantic Journal of Communication, and The Community College Journal of Research and Practice.
My teaching, mentoring and research are informed by over 20 years of media and public relations practical experience.
